About This Print

Born in London, England, Jungle exploded onto the underground scene in 1992, fusing reggae, dub, and hardcore with rapid-fire breakbeats, earth-shaking sub-bass, and a raw, street-level energy that redefined UK rave culture.

By 1994, the sound evolved into Drum & Bass – pushing faster tempos, darker atmospheres, and a more refined, tech-driven edge, while retaining its uncompromising intensity and bass-led foundation.

This artwork captures the unmistakable power of the movement: Amen breaks, rolling basslines, chopped samples, dubwise influences, and the relentless momentum that drove warehouses, pirate radio, and mid-90s UK dance floors.

Featuring foundational artists such as Dillinja, DJ SS, Roni Size, Lemon D, Doc Scott, Origin Unknown, DJ Hype, and 4 Hero, this piece honours the pioneers and tracks that shaped both Jungle and early Drum & Bass.
