Frequently Asked Questions

Products & Design

What products does London Print Works sell?

We specialise in music-inspired wall art, posters, prints, and clothing including T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. Our designs are influenced by dance music, rave culture, disco, soul, funk, boogie, UK garage, jungle, drum & bass, acid house, club typography, lyric-text artwork, and underground music culture.

All products are created in our signature bold visual style, reflecting the eras and scenes that shaped modern dance culture.

Are your products made to order?

Yes. All posters, prints, and clothing items are produced to order. This ensures consistent quality, reduced waste, and allows us to offer a wide range of designs and sizes.

Your order enters production shortly after checkout.

Production & Shipping

Where are your products printed and shipped from?

We work with a network of trusted print partners worldwide, including providers such as Gelato. Orders are automatically routed to the closest fulfilment centre to reduce shipping times, costs, and environmental impact.

Depending on your location, your order may be produced in the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia, or other regional facilities.

How long does production take?

Typical production times:

  • Posters & prints: 3–7 business days
  • Clothing (T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies): 3–7 business days

Production times may be slightly longer during peak seasons or holidays.

How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • United Kingdom: 5–10 business days
  • Europe: 5–12 business days
  • USA & Canada: 5–12 business days
  • Australia & New Zealand: 7–14 business days

Delivery times vary depending on location, courier performance, seasonal delays, and customs processing for international orders.

Do you offer tracked shipping?

Where available, yes. If your shipping method includes tracking, a tracking link will be emailed once your order is dispatched.

Please note that tracking availability varies by region and service, and updates may take time to appear.

Colour & Print Quality

Why do printed colours sometimes look different from what I see on screen?

Screens are backlit and display colours more vibrantly than printed materials. Professional print workflows also slightly soften extremely bright tones, particularly neon colours such as Acid Yellow.

For full details, please see our Colour & Print Disclaimer.

My print arrived slightly softer in colour than expected — is this normal?

Yes. Bright and neon tones can appear less luminous in print due to screen calibration, ink profiles, and paper stock.

If a print appears significantly washed out or defective, please contact us so we can review the issue.

Orders, Issues & Returns

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please email info@londonprintworks.art within 7 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damage
  • Photos of the packaging and shipping label

We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

What if my order hasn’t arrived?

Please check your tracking information (if available), with neighbours or reception, and for delivery attempt notifications.

If your order is still missing, contact us and we will investigate with our fulfilment partners. Lost parcels are usually replaced or refunded.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

As most items are made to order, change-of-mind returns are generally not accepted.

Faulty or damaged items will be replaced or refunded in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If production has not yet started, changes may be possible. Once production begins, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need assistance.

Framing, Sizing & Apparel

Do you frame your posters?

We currently sell unframed posters. All prints follow ISO A-series sizing (A3, A2, A1) and fit standard ready-made frames.

We recommend Nielsen Quadrum wooden frames, which fit our prints perfectly.

What sizes do your posters come in?

Our posters are produced in true A-series sizes:

  • A3 — 29.7 × 42 cm
  • A2 — 42 × 59.4 cm
  • A1 — 59.4 × 84.1 cm

Minor size variation may occur due to regional production tolerances.

Are your T-shirts and clothing true to size?

Most garments follow standard retail sizing. Please check the size chart on each product page before ordering.

If unsure, sizing up slightly is often recommended for unisex styles.

Payments, Taxes & Promotions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept secure payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

Availability may vary by region and device.

Do you collect taxes or duties?

VAT or sales tax is applied automatically at checkout where required.

International orders may be subject to import duties or customs fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

Do you offer discounts or promotions?

Occasionally, we offer discount codes, free shipping promotions, limited editions, or multi-buy offers.

Follow us on social media or join our mailing list to stay updated.

Gifts & Support

Why did my order arrive in multiple parcels?

Items may be produced at different locations, which can result in separate parcels and tracking numbers. There is no additional shipping charge for split shipments.

Do you offer gift packaging or gift messages?

At present, we do not offer gift wrapping. Gift notes may be supported in some cases but are not guaranteed.

How do I contact customer support?
